Beautiful Denmark

I really love to travel. It is such a nice feeling to have no serious responsibilities and to just have to enjoy life. Over new years eve I went on a trip to Denmark with my family.
I love the atmosphere that that country has. It instantly calms me and gives me strength. We had a small house and the beach and dunes where just about 1 km away. The weather was really good and it barely rained, but it was freezing cold.
I took my new camera with me (the canon EOS 1200D). I never had such a good camera so I was excited to test out how the pictures would look like.
Here are a few pictures I took with it:

Sore throat? How to ease the pain

 What I would recommend:

I had a sore throat for almost the whole of last week and it was really painful. I found a few easy ways to ease the pain and I want to share them with you.

First of all: Drink a lot! That might be the most obvious one, but it is also the most important one. When you drink you keep your mouth moisturized and help wash away the bacteria in your throat.
I would recommend tea or water. Sage tea is really helpful and if you don't like the taste mix in a bit of apple juice and it will taste good.

The next thing is to put a warm towel or something similar around your neck. The pain will be lessened and it also just feels nice and helps the healing progress.

Furthermore I recommend to eat ice when the pain is too much. (I know, the opposite of the advice above, but it also helps so who cares? ) It tastes good and helps against the infection.

Lastly I find eating (sucking? licking? not sure what fits here) sugar free bonbons. They also help to keep your mouth moisturized.

I hope some of this could help you and that your sore throat will be better soon!

Trip to London

Last year a friend and I went on a trip to London.

I always wanted to come back to London. I love the city and I enjoyed every moment of it. It was the first time I went somewhere without my parents and it was like an adventure!
The first hindrance my friend and I had to overcome was at the airport at home. We didn't know that we had to have a written permission from our parents that allowed us to leave the country. I nearly had a heart attack back then. I thought I couldn't even fly over to England. But thankfully the two lovely men at the service point just called our parents and they said it was okay.
And so our little adventure began!

We landed and successfully found the correct bus that would take us to Baker Street. Like the little Sherlock Holmes fan I am I was really excited about our destination. We took the underground and arrived at the station closest to our hostel.
It was kinda hard to find it though. There was a giant construction site and that made it really stressful to find the way to the right road.
But we found it at least!
We just put our stuff in our room and wanted to go and explore the city.
I have to say that I have never seen a smaller room. It was barely big enough for the bunk bed that filled more than half the room.

We visited so many places and of course went shopping for a bit.

New year, new me.

Happy new year everybody!

This year I want to try and be more active and actually write blog posts.
I hope you guys had a wonderful start of  2016. I made a few resolutions and I really want to make the most of this year.

These are the last few month of school and things are getting serious now. I already feel stressed about homework and the exams, but that won't stop me from having a good time
with family and friends. I think it's important to always make time for the activities you want to do and especially for yourself.

As a way to become more organized I began to use a planer and not like all the other times I tried to use on I want to really plan out my weeks so that I have all my plans visualized.
I use the 2016 diary made by the youtuber Sprinkle of Glitter or Louise.
It is beautiful and easy to use. I love the fact that it is a hardcover book because I can just throw it in my back and don't worry too much that it will get destroyed on the way.

I want to be more healthy and start eating better and go to the gym more often. In the next few weeks I have an operation and many other appointments at the doctors, but I hope that I still have the chance to keep up with my resolution.

Apart from that...my driving test is in two weeks and I am really nervous about that. I failed the first time and now I just want to pass. I already know what car I want to have and I feel so excited when I think about driving my own car soon!

I hope you guys had a great time so far!
